Walking meditation in Dallas, for teams who think better on their feet.
The Walking Reset: a guided walking meditation your whole team does together.
A facilitator leads your team on a slow, guided walk, indoors through your corridors and atria or outside on a quiet loop. Everyone wears wireless headphones, so one calm voice reaches every walker privately, even on a busy campus or in a park. No mats. No clothing change. Thirty to forty-five minutes that leaves people calmer, clearer, and thinking more freely.
Onsite DFW · 30 to 45 min · Indoor or outdoor · From $750
Headphone-guidedWalking meditation, in plain English.
The Walking Reset is exactly what it sounds like. Instead of sitting still with eyes closed, your team walks slowly and pays gentle attention, to their feet, their breath, the air, the space around them. A trained facilitator guides the whole thing out loud, so nobody has to figure out what to do. There is nothing to learn and no way to do it wrong.
Here is the part HR leaders care about: movement helps people think. In a landmark Stanford study, walkers out-produced sitters on creative idea generation in 81 to 100 percent of trials, and the lift carried into the minutes after they sat back down. Walking on a treadmill facing a blank wall worked just as well as walking outside, so the benefit comes from the walking itself, not the scenery. You get it indoors or out.
That makes The Walking Reset a rare two-for-one for a packed calendar: a genuine reset that downshifts a stressed nervous system, and a looser, more creative head walking back into the room.
The thinking reset
Walkers out-created sitters in 81 to 100% of trials.
Reported in a Stanford study (Oppezzo and Schwartz, 2014) measuring creative idea generation. The effect held indoors and outdoors, and carried over after walkers sat back down.
The Walking Reset is a wellbeing experience, not medical care. It is not a treatment for any health condition. Employees managing a specific condition should check with their own clinician.
Four phases. Thirty calm minutes, start to finish.
5 min
Arrival and grounding
We gather, hand out headphones, and take a few settling breaths. The guide explains the simple idea: walk slowly, stay curious, let the day fall away. No experience needed.
15 to 30 min
The guided walk
The facilitator leads a slow, mindful walk along a route we have planned for your venue, guiding attention to footsteps, breath, and surroundings. With headphone immersion, every walker hears the guide privately, so it stays calm even on a noisy campus or in a lobby.
5 min
Pause and reflect
We stop at a chosen spot, a courtyard, an atrium, a view, for a short, still moment. A simple prompt helps people notice how they feel and, if they like, connect with whoever is beside them.
5 min
Gentle return and takeaway
We ease back to a normal pace and close the practice. Everyone leaves with a desk-to-door card: a five-minute walking reset they can repeat any day, on their own.
Prefer no tech? Our small-group version is led by voice, no headsets, for tighter groups of about fifteen.
Everything we bring to your walk.
One turnkey experience. You pick indoor or outdoor and a date. We handle the rest.
The part nobody else does
A scouted route plan, mapped to your venue.
Before the day, we plan and scout a route built around your exact space, the right pace, the right length, a good place to pause, and clean handoffs between indoor and outdoor sections. Every plan comes with an indoor weather backup, so rain or Texas heat never cancels your session. You approve the route before we run it.
- Route mapped to your campus, hotel, or park
- A planned pause point with a moment worth noticing
- Indoor backup route on standby for weather
A certified facilitator
A trained guide leads the full practice and sets a calm, inclusive tone. At the 30-person tier we add an assistant so the group stays together and supported front to back.
Wireless headphones for everyone
We bring the headsets and the transmitter, enough for the whole group. Each walker hears the guide clearly and privately, which is what makes the walk work in a busy lobby, an open floor, or a public park.
A desk-to-door takeaway card
Everyone keeps a simple card with a five-minute walking-reset practice, so the calm and the clearer thinking carry past the session into any ordinary workday.

No quiet room? No problem.
One calm voice reaches every walker, clearly and privately, through wireless headphones we bring for the whole group. So the session works anywhere you have a path to walk, no quiet studio to book, no shouting over traffic, no crowd noise. It is what lets a guided meditation run in the middle of an ordinary workday, in the building you already have.
We have run it in
The moments a team walk lands hardest.
Strategy offsites and ideation days
Walking loosens thinking right before a brainstorm, a planning block, or a hard problem. Open the day with it, or use it as a midpoint reset between heavy sessions.
Mental Health Awareness Month
A flagship May moment that is active and inclusive, an experience employees feel, not another webinar.
Wellness days and midday resets
A drop-in walk people join in work clothes, no change, no mats, back at their desks calmer within the hour.
Return-to-office gatherings
Give an in-office day a reason that feels worth the commute. A shared walk reconnects distributed teams in person, with no forced agenda.
An antidote to forced fun
Team connection with no trust falls and no cringe. Side by side and quiet, real conversation tends to come on its own.
Conference and summit breaks
A headphone-led walk that clears heads between keynotes, immersive enough to run past a busy expo floor or hotel lobby.
Calm body, clearer head.
Gentle movement plus a little awe is a reliable way to feel better. In a University of California study, people who took short weekly awe walks, simply noticing what was around them, light through trees, the scale of a building, a wide sky, reported more gratitude and compassion and less daily distress than people who walked the same amount without the prompt. A guided route is built to make that easy to find.
And it lands differently as a team. Most employees already have a walking meditation in their pocket, the one they do alone, with earbuds, on a good day. The Walking Reset is the version you do together: one live voice, the same shared moment, no screen. That is the part an app cannot give them, and it is exactly why live sessions earn their place in a workplace wellbeing program.

Outdoors we map a quiet campus loop or a nearby green space, the calm stretch of the Katy Trail, a loop of Klyde Warren Park, or the grounds of the Dallas Arboretum. Headphone immersion keeps the guide clear in any of them.

Why DFW teams choose Chakra Hours
What Dallas teams say after a session.
The teams that book Chakra Hours keep booking. Here is what DFW HR and People leaders say.
The Walking Reset, answered.
What is The Walking Reset, and how is it different from a normal walk?+
It is a slow, guided walk where a facilitator helps you pay gentle attention to your steps, your breath, and what is around you. Unlike a normal walk, there is nothing to plan or decide, you just follow the guide and let the day settle. In our standard format everyone wears wireless headphones and hears the guide privately, so it stays calm and clear even in a busy place.
Does walking really help a team think better?+
There is good evidence that it does. In a Stanford study (Oppezzo and Schwartz, 2014), walkers out-produced sitters on creative idea generation in 81 to 100 percent of trials, and the boost carried over to the minutes after they sat back down. Interestingly, walking on a treadmill facing a blank wall worked as well as walking outdoors, so the effect comes from the act of walking, not the view. That is why teams like to run The Walking Reset right before a brainstorm, a planning block, or a hard conversation.
We already give everyone Calm or Headspace. Why book a live walk?+
Apps are great for the walk one person does alone, on a good day, with earbuds in. The Walking Reset is the version a team does together: one live facilitator, the same shared moment, no screen. It is a reason to step away as a group, and it reaches people who never open the app on their own. Think of it as the in-person complement to the benefit you already offer, not a replacement for it.
We do not have a big quiet room. Can you still run it?+
Yes, and this is where the headphones earn their keep. Because one calm voice reaches every walker privately, the session works anywhere you have a path to walk: a hallway, a lobby, a rooftop, a parking structure, or the green space next door. There is no quiet studio to book and no shouting over traffic. We plan the route around the space you actually have.
Do employees need to be fit or flexible to join?+
No. This is light, slow walking with present-moment awareness, not exercise. There is no fitness or flexibility requirement, nothing to stretch, and no mats. Anyone who can take a gentle stroll can fully take part, people set their own easy pace, and the practice is designed so nobody is put on the spot.
How long is a session?+
Our standard walk is about thirty minutes from gathering to close. A longer forty-five-minute version suits retreats and offsites. We scope the length to your agenda and can run shorter resets for a packed conference schedule.
Can it be indoors, or does it have to be outside?+
Either, your choice. Indoors we use corridors, lobbies, atria, and stairwells. Outdoors we map a quiet campus loop, a nearby park, or hotel grounds. We plan the route for whichever you pick, and we always have an indoor backup ready in case of weather.
Where in Dallas-Fort Worth do you run team walks?+
Anywhere across the metroplex. We are based in North Dallas near the Galleria and come to your office, hotel, coworking space, or offsite venue, from Dallas and Fort Worth to Plano, Frisco, Irving, Las Colinas, Addison, Richardson, Allen, Arlington, and Grapevine. We can run an outdoor route at spots like Klyde Warren Park, the Katy Trail, or the Dallas Arboretum, or keep it entirely on your own grounds. Travel beyond the metroplex is added to the quote.
How many people can join a team walk?+
The immersive headphone walk handles up to thirty people, and we add an assistant facilitator at that size to keep the group together. The voice-led version, with no headsets, is best for tighter groups of about fifteen. For very large headcounts we run back-to-back walks.
What happens if it rains or it is too hot?+
Your route plan always includes an indoor backup, so weather never cancels the session. If the forecast turns, we simply move the walk inside through your corridors, lobby, or atrium and run the same experience.
How much does a team walking meditation cost?+
The Workday Reset Walk is $750 for up to 20 people (30 minutes), and the Reset Retreat Walk is $1,250 for up to 30 (45 minutes), both all-in for the facilitator, the wireless headphones, and your scouted route at a standard DFW location. That works out to roughly $38 to $42 a person. A voice-led version for small groups is quoted to your group, and travel beyond the metroplex is added to the quote.
