Wellbeing program basics
4 questionsThe category questions HR teams ask first, what it is, whether it works, and how it differs from the tools you already have.
What is a corporate wellbeing program?+
It is an employer-funded set of recurring activities that help employees manage stress, build healthy habits, and stay focused at work. Chakra Hours runs a specific version of it: live, facilitator-led 30-minute sessions, not a self-guided app or a perks catalog.
See how the live sessions workDo corporate wellbeing programs actually work?+
Honestly, the generic ones often underperform. Self-guided step challenges and app licenses show weak engagement, which is what the well-known Harvard and RAND analyses flag. What moves the needle is the opposite: relevant, human-led sessions that employees actually attend together. Well-designed programs are linked to meaningfully lower stress-related absence over time.
Read the ultimate guide to workplace wellnessHow is this different from an EAP?+
An EAP is reactive: confidential support an employee calls once something is already wrong. A wellbeing program is proactive: it builds resilience and shared habits before burnout sets in. They complement each other, they do not replace each other.
How is this different from a wellness app or platform?+
Apps depend on individual willpower, and sustained engagement is usually low. Chakra Hours is live and scheduled: a real facilitator leads a session on the calendar, which is why attendance holds. There is no app for employees to download, log into, or abandon.
The Workday Reset MethodPrograms & formats
4 questionsWhat a session actually is, how long it runs, and how the packs and the Year-Round Program fit together.
What does "live" mean, are sessions in person or online?+
Live online sessions run on Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Live onsite sessions are delivered in person across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. We do both. "Live" always means real, scheduled, and human-led, never a recording or an app.
How long is a session?+
A standard Chakra Hours session is 30 minutes. Onsite formats run 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on the modality, and retreat-day formats run a half day.
What is the difference between a class pack and the Year-Round Program?+
A class pack is a focused campaign of 4, 8, or 12 sessions delivered in a defined window. The Year-Round Program is a 12-month rhythm with two sessions a month, planned around awareness dates and your workplace cycles.
Compare packs and Year-RoundCan sessions be customized?+
Yes. The recommended sequences are starting points. We tailor the curriculum to your team’s awareness-month plans, seasonal pressures, and specific stressors.

6 questionsCorporate wellness program cost, the return the research supports, and the budget questions finance will ask, with published per-program rates.
How much does a corporate wellbeing program cost?+
Industry-wide, programs run roughly $150 to $1,200 per employee per year depending on depth. Chakra Hours prices per program rather than per head: the First-Team Pilot, a one-time rate for new companies, is $395, a single live session is $695, a 4-session series is $2,400, the 8-session curriculum is $3,800, and the Year-Round Program is $1,200 a month on a 12-month commitment. Onsite Dallas-Fort Worth events are scoped on a quick call.
See full pricingAre corporate wellbeing programs worth it, and what is the ROI?+
For well-designed programs the research points to a real return, commonly cited in the range of $1.50 to $3 back per dollar, mostly through lower absenteeism and turnover. The return builds over a few cycles, not overnight. You can model the numbers for your own team.
Open the ROI calculatorAre these costs tax deductible?+
Generally yes. Employer wellbeing-program costs are ordinarily deductible business expenses. Confirm the specifics for your company with your tax advisor.
Can we use wellness dollars, an HSA, or an FSA?+
Many companies have wellness funds, engagement budgets, or broker-supported wellness dollars that apply to programming like ours, and that is usually the right route. Pre-tax HSA and FSA accounts generally cannot be used for general wellbeing programming unless it is tied to a medical condition, so check with your benefits provider or broker.
Is procurement paperwork available?+
Yes. A W-9, a Certificate of Insurance, and a standard MSA are available on request, and we will redline yours instead if you prefer. We also provide a plain-language program summary for benefits, finance, and legal review.
Is there a credit if we upgrade from a pack to the Year-Round Program?+
Yes. If you upgrade within 30 days of completing your pack, we apply 50% of your pack fee as credit toward your first year of the Year-Round Program.
About the Year-Round ProgramGetting started & timeline
4 questionsHow to launch without a six-month rollout, whether your team is the right size, and when to start.
How do we start a corporate wellbeing program?+
Three steps: pick a focus (stress, energy, or resilience), get light leadership buy-in, and put a recurring session on the calendar. With Chakra Hours it is a short discovery call, a scoped plan, then your first session, with no committee or platform build required.
Book a discovery callHow quickly can we launch?+
Usually within a few weeks, not the multi-month timeline an enterprise platform requires. Once dates are chosen, a single session or a 4-session series can be scheduled quickly.
Do you work with small teams, and is there a minimum?+
There is no headcount minimum. Unlike platforms that gate at 200-plus employees, Chakra Hours runs for teams of any size, a 30-person team and a 1,000-person organization both work, because pricing is per program rather than per seat.
When is the best time of year to launch?+
Any time works, but anchoring to an awareness month, like Mental Health Awareness Month in May, gives a natural hook and a built-in reason to tell employees about it.
See the HR wellbeing calendarAttendance & participation
6 questionsThe question that decides whether a program works, plus the practical logistics of who joins and how.
How do we get employees to actually participate?+
Participation is the single biggest reason programs succeed or fail. Live, scheduled sessions with a calendar invite consistently beat opt-in apps. Short 30-minute formats, a leader who attends, and topics that match what the team is actually feeling all drive turnout. Half the invited team showing up is a strong benchmark.
How many employees can attend?+
A standard live online session is sized for up to 200 attendees. Onsite sound bath seats up to 20, chair yoga up to 20, and mat-based office yoga up to 20. For larger groups, ask about staggered sessions or co-facilitation.
Do employees need to download an app?+
No. No app to install, and no platform login for employees to forget. A calendar invite, a Zoom or Teams link, and 30 minutes is all it takes.
Does this work for remote or hybrid teams?+
Yes. Live online sessions run on Zoom or Microsoft Teams, so distributed and hybrid teams join the same session at the same time, and recordings cover anyone who misses it. For teams in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we also deliver the same sessions onsite.
What do employees need to bring or wear?+
Nothing. Online sessions can be joined from a chair. Onsite chair yoga, sound bath, and mindful movement are fully clothed-friendly, with no mat or workout clothes required. We bring the props for mat-based formats.
Do you offer recordings?+
Optional session recordings are included with all packs of 4 sessions or more, and available on request for single sessions.
Facilitators & method
3 questionsWho leads the sessions, the framework behind them, and the line we are careful to draw.
Who delivers the sessions?+
Certified Chakra Hours facilitators, trained in The Workday Reset Method™. Each holds credentials in their practice, certified yoga and meditation teachers with breathwork and sound-based relaxation training, and all are experienced working with corporate teams and fully insured.
Meet the methodWhat is The Workday Reset Method™?+
A four-pillar framework for sustainable workday wellbeing: Reset, Restore, Resource, Renew. It is built on stress-physiology research and what actually works in real teams, and it is what keeps every session practical rather than abstract.
Read the full methodIs this therapy or medical care?+
No. Chakra Hours sessions are educational wellbeing programming, not medical care, therapy, mental-health treatment, or personalized nutrition advice. Employees should participate within their comfort level and consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
Measuring success & reporting
3 questionsWhat you can measure, what a good result looks like, and what you can take back to leadership.
What data do we get back?+
Every program includes a pre-program Workday Wellbeing Audit, attendance tracking, and post-session feedback. Multi-session programs add a mid-program checkpoint and a post-program outcome summary. The Year-Round Program includes an annual outcome report.
How do we measure whether it is working?+
The clearest signals are the participation rate (half of the invited team is a strong benchmark), the pre-to-post Wellbeing Audit, and qualitative feedback. We package these into a plain-language summary you can take straight to leadership.
Model the impactHow is data shared with leadership?+
Reports are built for HR to share with leadership directly. We aggregate the data with no individual employee identifiers and present results in plain language with clear next-step recommendations.
Live · human-led · never a recordingIt usually comes down to one question.
Will the team actually show up? They do, because it is live, human, and 30 minutes, a real session on the calendar, not another login to forget. If you are still pricing the budget, our guide to pricing, logistics, and ROI walks through the numbers.
