Awareness month workplace activities, programmed end to end.
The four deep playbooks HR teams actually run. Each one turns awareness month workplace activities into a complete four-week arc of live sessions, manager toolkits, and copy-paste comms, ready to put on the calendar.
A green ribbon and a Calm code is not a program.
The intent is real, the structure isn’t. An awareness month moves the needle only when it’s programmed like one: weekly live sessions, manager support, employee tools, and follow-through after it ends.

Awareness-month planning FAQ
How is an awareness-month plan different from a single wellbeing session?+
A single session is one moment on the calendar. A plan is a four-week arc, one live session each week, plus manager toolkits, ready-to-use comms, and follow-through after the month ends, so the month lands as a real program rather than a one-off email.
When are the four awareness moments HR teams program in 2026?+
Stress Awareness Month runs all of April, Mental Health Awareness Month all of May, National Wellness Month all of August, and World Mental Health Day is October 10. October 10 falls on a Saturday in 2026, so most teams program the week of October 5 to 9.
Can we customize the four-week sequence?+
Yes. The recommended sessions are the highest-impact default for each month. We adjust the sequence for burnout prevention, leadership tracks, ERG-specific framing, or any need specific to your team.
How far ahead should HR book?+
Four to six weeks is comfortable: time to confirm session dates, brief managers, and schedule the comms. Booking a four-session pack locks your dates in one step, and the flagship months (May and October) are worth booking earliest.
What if our team is remote or hybrid?+
Every plan runs live over Zoom or Microsoft Teams for distributed teams, and onsite across Dallas-Fort Worth, so everyone joins the same session at the same time.
What outcome data does leadership get?+
Each plan includes a pre-session wellbeing pulse, a mid-month checkpoint, and a post-program summary with attendance and feedback, formatted to share with leadership.
How is this different from the HR Wellness Calendar?+
The HR Wellness Calendar is the whole year at a glance, every observance mapped to a session for planning. These four pages are the deep, week-by-week plans for the moments most teams build a campaign around.
Stop planning awareness months from scratch.
Run one flagship month with a live corporate wellness series, or let the Year-Round Program put all four on the calendar by default, two live sessions a month, planned around the moments that matter to your team. New to programming October? Read our World Mental Health Day activities guide.
